Surface treatment
New unpainted surfaces: Clean the surface and remove all possible traces of dust or dirt. Treat the substrate with
a priming coat of ADIFIX thinned as specified and allow to dry. Proceed with the application of a basecoat using
FONDO UNIVERSALE thinned in the recommended doses and colored in a tone similar to that of the finish.
Previously painted surfaces: Check that the state of the existing paintwork is in excellent condition, if so, proceed
directly with the application of the FONDO UNIVERSALE, as described in the previous paragraph.
If the surface shows signs of defects, such as peeling or chalking, remove any loose parts that would compromise
the correct adhesion of the product then proceed as indicated hereabove for New unpainted surfaces.
Preparing the required color
The chosen color is obtained by adding the specified quantity of Adicolor TINTER to the product base according to the formula indicated on the color chart. The product can also be colored with the Adicolor tinting system.
Application
Once the basecoat is well dry, proceed with the application of SHADÉ S by brush.
Choose whether to apply the product proceeding with brush strokes always in the same direction to obtain a
“striated” effect finish, or to apply the product with random spots, a little distant from each other, then joining the
spots together to obtain a “islands” effect finish.
One coat is generally sufficient to achieve a finish with good hide.
