Surface treatment
New unpainted surfaces: Clean the surface and remove all possible traces of dust or dirt. Treat the substrate
with a priming coat of ADIFIX thinned as specified and allow to dry. Proceed with the application of one or two
basecoats, using a high-quality semi-gloss washable paint, such as our NEW GENERATION PAINT Satinata,
thinned in the recommended doses.
Previously painted surfaces: Check that the state of the existing paintwork is in excellent condition, if so,
proceed directly with the application of the basecoats, as described in the previous paragraph.
If the surface shows signs of defects, such as peeling or chalking, remove any loose parts that would compromise
the correct adhesion of the product then proceed as indicated hereabove for New unpainted surfaces.
Preparing the required color
Sogni SK is available in 9 pre-tinted Bases. To achieve other colors, add the specified quantity of Adicolor TINTER to the bases SK101 or SK102 as indicated on the relative color chart and mix well.
Application
Once the basecoat is well dry, proceed with the application of SK, choosing from the different techniques possible.
- Chamois-pad effect
Apply a generous coat of SK by brush or medium-pile roller starting from the top corner of the wall working
downwards. Before the product begins to dry, dab the texturing tool over the area just covered in order to
create the desired pattern, continuously rotating the tool before touching the surface to vary the imprints. - Spatula effect
Place a small amount of product onto the side of the spatula and spread the product directly onto the wall
using small crossed, uneven and irregular movements. Continue in this way until the wall is completed.
SK can also be applied by brush, sponge or other tools, even on non-smooth surfaces to create more depth and
enhance the finished design.
